Ramadan – The Month of Blessings 🌙

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and one of the most sacred times for Muslims around the world. It is a month of fasting, prayer, patience, and spiritual growth.

During Ramadan, Muslims fast every day from dawn (Fajr) until sunset (Maghrib). They do not eat or drink during this time. The fast is broken in the evening with a meal called Iftar, while the pre-dawn meal is called Suhoor.

Fasting is not only about staying away from food and drink. It also teaches self-control, kindness, gratitude, and compassion for people who are less fortunate.

Muslims increase their worship during this month. They pray more, read the Qur’an, give charity, and try to improve their character. Special night prayers called Tarawih are also performed in mosques.

One of the most important nights in Ramadan is Laylat al-Qadr (The Night of Power). It is believed that the first verses of the Qur’an were revealed on this night. Worship on this night is better than a thousand months.

At the end of Ramadan, Muslims celebrate a joyful festival called Eid al-Fitr. Families gather, wear new clothes, share food, give charity, and thank Allah for the strength to complete the fast.

Ramadan is a time of faith, reflection, generosity, and unity for Muslims everywhere.
